Balanced Disc: All designs utilize an easily replaced balanced disc to maintain equivalent pressure around the stem to minimize vibration and prevent other potential problems

Severe Service Trims: Special custom engineered designs are available for severe service applications.
Anti Cavitation Trims are custom engineered and designed to prevent the onset of cavitation rather than some competitors’ designs which only try to minimize the effects of cavitation. Our designs can be cage, multi- labyrinth or multi-turn and focus and treat the “cause”, not the result.

Low Noise Trims are custom engineered and designed to reduce and break down fluid velocity to acceptable standards to prevent Noise and Vibration and the resultant erosion. Our designs can be cage, multi- labyrinth or multi-turn and focus and treat the “cause”, not the result.

Flow Capacity and Characteristics
Custom engineered and designed cages and sleeves accommodate unique flow capacities and characteristics.
Acid Gas and other Corrosive Fluids

All VOLK control valves are available in materials compatible with the fluid being controlled. In sour gas and acid gas applications, all control valves meet and comply with the latest edition of The National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).

Ease of Maintenance
All VOLK control valves are designed with low cost maintenance in mind and as such, are Top Entry design allowing easy removal and replacement of the trim.
